I can't believe next week I will finishing up my sixth class in my grad program. Working full time and going to class full time has been so rewarding. It also has been one of the hardest things I have done. It really has gotten me through a lot and kept me going forward, which is super nice and different for me. I signed up for my last four classes and it is extremely intense. I will be rewarding myself with a trip somewhere when I am done. Portland? I don't know, here's hoping I have money for it.
August 12th finally came and that means The Name EP by SonReal finally came out! I heard this EP a month ago when I was invited onto his bus to listen before his Philadelphia show. He greeted me with a hug and excitement to meet some fans. SonReal knows how to connect with his fans through invites, follows on Instagram or other social networking sites. Can I get A Witness has the best cover art I have ever seen. It is topical and suits the song well. The EP is great. I wish I could give it a 10 out of 10, but he still hasn't put out a full album. Being a SonReal fan I know he has the potential to do so. I am not a huge face of the song SoHo. It is kinda basic rap song. The song you need is Hot Air Balloon. Here is the thing, you need to become a fan of him. He is a white dude from Canada who raps. Here is the thing though, he does it well! Download the The Name EP right now!
